The Audio Widget allows you to easily add audio to your site. The widget lets you upload a audio file which will then be wrapped in a custom player. The widget will probably be handy for musicians or podcasters.
Admin Label : The name you add here will appear in the page builder under the widget name. This helps with easy identification of the contents of the widget.
Audio Type : You have 2 options to choose from. You can choose to upload a self-hosted audio file or you can you can use WordPress Embeds to display audio.
We shall deal with the two options separately.
When selected, you have just one field to fill.
oEmbed Audio URL : Type/Paste the URL of the audio you want to embed. You can get a list of WordPress compatible sites here.
You have a few options to fill when selected.
Audio File : Choose an audio file from your Media Library or use an externally hosted file.
Background Image : Use a background image for the widget. This is optional.
Background Color : Choose a background color for the widget. Leave blank for tranparent.
Background Opacity : This field will be useful when you have chosen a background image. 0 is tranparent & 100 is opaque.
Controls Theme : You have two themes for the controls. Dark is a blackish theme and Light is whitish theme.
Audio Name : Input is the name of your audio file/song.
Artist : Input is the artist’s name.
Album : Input is the album’s name.
Text Color : Sets the color of the text. Defaults to #333333.
Text Alignment : Set the alignment of the text. You can align it left, center or right.
